Welcome to the Clinical Review in Cardiology: Preventing Stroke in Patients with Atrial Fibrillation. This site is a study guide focusing on guideline-recommended and emerging strategies for the prevention of stroke and thromboembolic events in patients with atrial fibrillation.
The guide contains six tabs — an introduction, four case studies, and references. Each case study tab contains questions, answers, and a detailed explanation of the correct answer, all located beneath the case description. After reading the case and selecting an answer, click the “Check” button, at the bottom of the screen, and the correct answer will be highlighted in green; and an incorrect answer will be highlighted in red. At the bottom of each answer discussion is the “Next” button to allow you to move to the next question.
Click each tab to navigate the menu. The final tab lists reference materials related to all information in this Clinical Review.
Once complete, close the Clinical Review window to return to the Professional Education Center, and claim your continuing medical education credits.
